Granola Apple Crisp
8 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1-1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
2-1/2 cups granola with fruit and nuts
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
In a large bowl, toss the apples, lemon juice and peel. Transfer to a greased 3-qt. slow cooker. Combine cereal, sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Drizzle with butter. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the apples are tender. Serve warm. Makes 6-8 servings.
