French Apple Cobbler
2 packages (12 ounces each) frozen apples, defrosted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place apples in 9-inch-square baking pan. Mix flour, sugar, egg, butter, baking powder and salt in medium bowl until blended.
Drop dough by heaping tablespoons over apples. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
